Description:
Send emails to students/guardians using your Outlook for Office 365. This will also keep a history of all the emails sent to the student/guardian through both the admin and teacher portals.

Installation:
- Log in to PowerSchool as an admin and navigate to Plugin Management Dashboard.
- Click Install to add the plugin.
- Add OutlookPlugin.zip file.
- Click Install.
- Find the plugin “Outlook for Office 365 Mail Plugin” from the list and click the enabled checkbox.
Instructions:
For Outlook / Office 365 API:
- Log in to PowerSchool as an admin and navigate to System >> API Settings (Under AV Outlook for Office 365 Mail Management)
- Follow steps under “Azure Application ID”
For TinyMCE API:
- Log in to PowerSchool as an admin and navigate to System >> API Settings (Under AV Outlook for Office 365 Mail Management)
- Follow steps under “Get TinyMCE Client ID and API Key”
Send Student / Guardian Email (Admin):
- Go to Student Profile
- On the left navigation bar, click on New Email under Email header
- Click on the link to login into your office for 365 / outlook account to authorise powerschool to send email
Send Bulk Email (Admin):
- Select group of students
- Click on Send Mass Email
- Click on the link to login into your office for 365 / outlook account to authorise powerschool to send email
Allow Teachers to Email:
- Log in to PowerSchool as an admin and navigate to System >> Email Security (Under AV Google Mail Management)
- Change “Yes” next to Allow Teachers to Send Email
Send Student / Guardian Email (Teacher):
- Go to Student Profile through Bagpack Icon.
- Select New Email from the student screen dropdown.
- Click on the link to login into your office for 365 / outlook account to authorise powerschool to send email
Send Bulk Email (Teacher):
- Click on Email Icon next to your class.
- Click on the link to login into your office for 365 / outlook account to authorise powerschool to send email
